River Report
Updated 21/7/10
Water levels are holding steady at the moment but it might not be for long as there is a lot of heavy showers falling. Today so far 8 fish have been landed on the fishery all on spinner as clarity is still at 3ft+. The first fish was taken today by Joao Antero from Portugal who landed a nice fish of 6.5lbs off the Glenmore. The Castle produced the rest, with Dave Blair landing 2 nice grilse of 5lbs each. Ballyrafter House Hotel client from Russia been guided by Bob Woodside landed 3 fish off the Castle beat releasing 1 small grilse of 3lbs. John Brock from the U.K. had also a good day landing 2 grilse and losing one at the net. Prospects now for the coming days are excellent as plenty of grilse are moving in off each tide. Forecast for the next few days are set to improve.
